She served as a school library media specialist in New Haven, CT for 23 years and in that capacity was instrumental in introducing Battle of the Books for her own district and beyond as one of the original creators of the company in the 1990s. Christine is excited to embark on the new endeavor as owner of Battle of the Books since she has always loved to read literature for young people.

Christine is also a weaver, a knitter and a seamstress. She has taught weaving and sewing and lectured on her own weaving collection of Greek textiles. Her travels have included the majestic United States, her father’s homeland of Greece as well as Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico. She holds a B.A in History, an M.L.S and a 6th year in Educational Foundations. She was a Yale University Summer Fellow¬†for two summers.
